堀内 知代子 / ちょこぼ
1978年神奈川県生まれ。 幼少時から絵本の代わりにギリシャ神話、映画はグーニーズとインディ・ジョーンズに憧れて育つ。
学生時代にバックパッカーで旅をしたニュージーランドとアメリカの大自然の中で地球の不思議に圧倒され、
大学卒業後はアメリカに遊学。学生かたわら旅を続け、帰国後は都内の企業に勤務しながら、東南アジアを回り始める。退職後にオセアニア、中東、西欧数十カ国を周遊。現地の人との出会いの中、大地の力強さ、人間の美しさをカメラで撮り始める。
現在は都内でOLをしながら本やコラムを執筆、またカメラワークを学びつつ、2009年旅立ち予定で陸路による世界一周を準備中。
Chiyoko HORIUCHI
Chiyoko Horiuchi was born in October 1978 in Yokohama, Japan. Her first backpacking adventure came while she was a University student in Japan. Her early travels to such locations as New Zealand and USA gave her a strong appreciation for the wonders of the World. After completing her schooling, she moved to California (USA) where she continued her travels within parts of the United States. She has since moved back to Japan and continues to travel when time allows, complimenting her travel essays with photography, which is another of her passions. She is currently preparing for an around-the-world backpacking trip which she plans to begin in 2009.
